Hawley Water Supply has completed the project funded by the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG). You may have noticed in the late part of the summer contractors have been working on phase 1 of a list of projects that the Board of Directors, engineer, and management have put together to serve the needs of our customers. The first phase is completed by installing 5,100 linear feet of 10-inch diameter water line from the HWY 277 pump station to PR 314 on the east side of Hwy 277. The bore piping was replaced with a new 10-inch diameter water line. The existing river crossing on the west side of HWY 277 has been replaced with a 10-inch High Density Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE). With this project complete, this has increased the pressure and volume inside the City Limits of Hawley and the out-lying areas.
We look forward to continue to serve the needs of our members through more projects of this nature.
