Lead Service Line Inventory

We are please to announce that Hawley Water has completed its Lead Service Line inventory at the meter (corporation owned) and customer side of the meter. December 16, 2021, the EPA introduced the Revised Lead and Copper Rule to heighten regulations on lead in the drinking water. This means to develop an inventory on the utility-owned and customer-owned service lines and let the public know by October 16,2024. During our investigation, we have not found any lead service lines on the utility-owned side and on the customer side of the meter. This does not mean lead is not present in your home's plumbing. We only checked the connection to the meter and reviewed our records on the customer-owned side of the meter. One requirement from the EPA is to have a map that depicts each meter with no-lead or lead that needs replacement. Below is a link to the map.
